Air force one free speech webmaster = liar

In summary, a video of someone supposedly spraying graffiti on President Bush's jet, causing concern for the Air Force, turned out to be a hoax. The creators of the video have revealed that it was all staged and intended for entertainment purposes and to spark critical thinking about freedom of expression. The original thread discussing the video can be found in the Politics and World Affairs section.

WASHINGTON, April 21 — A startling Internet video that shows someone spraying graffiti on President Bush's jet looked so authentic that the Air Force wasn't immediately certain whether the plane had been targeted.
It was all a hoax. No one actually sprayed the slogan ''Still Free'' on the cowling of Air Force One.

Because security just isn't THAT lax...

Where did the original thread go anyways?

revealed Friday how they pulled it off: a rented 747 in California painted to look almost exactly like Air Force One

Damn, I knew that looked real, because it was. Just not the actual airplane.

Well that's one hell of a way to display free speech; fake something you're too chicken to really do. What thread was the original one posted in then.
