In summary, a thread posting authorisation is a permission system used on online forums and discussion boards that allows moderators to control who can post new threads. It works by assigning different levels of access to users or user groups, and is used to maintain control over forum content, prevent spam, and ensure a positive discussion environment. The different types of authorisations vary depending on the forum software, and users can request access by contacting the forum's moderators or administrators.

What is the forums policy on this issue?
