Does anybody know of any good books for math? (functions)

In summary, there are many good books available for learning math, but it would be helpful to specify what specific topics or level you are looking for. One suggestion is "Precalculus: An Investigation of Functions" by Lippman, which has a free preview on Amazon. You may also find helpful recommendations on online forums such as Physics Forums.

Hello Selda and :welcome:

I'm afraid you will have to be a lot more specific!

Your question sounds as if you could find here: https://openstax.org/subjects
what you were looking for.

However, "does anybody know" - basically all of us - "any good books" - hundreds - "to learn math" - and here we are lost. What we understand what mathematics is, is barely what you learn at school, and to learn anything, the question needs to be answered: where do you start?
