Experience as Evidence: Forum Debate

In summary, the conversation discusses the concept of reality and whether personal experience can be considered evidence for it. The participants of the forum seem to be in disagreement about this, with some believing that personal experience is not evidence of reality and others believing it is. However, due to the vagueness and lack of specificity in the questions, the topic is deemed unanswerable and the thread is closed. The forum typically requires peer-reviewed sources or textbooks for discussion and does not consider such abstract discussions to be within the realm of philosophy.

Are there any on the forum that think that what you experience is no evidence of reality? Or is it evidence?

For example can you tell from your experience that reality is not one in whichno part experiences? Is that a simple truth that those on the forum agree upon, or are there those on the forum that dispute that?

Three undefined terms, ergo unanswerable.
For example can you tell from your experience that reality is not one in which no part experiences?
Still an invitation to talk about literally nothing or all, and thus without meaning.
Is that a simple truth that those on the forum agree upon, or are there those on the forum that dispute that?
We will never find out, as such questions are not discussed on PF. I refuse to call it philosophy, but lack a similar word which is still pc.

Those questions are far too vague and under determined to allow a reasonable discussion. We usually require peer reviewed sources or textbooks outside the few threads which are meant to amuse. I doubt that you will find some which are not within philosophy.
