How to find force from magnetic field?

In summary, to find force from magnetic field, you can use the equation F = qvBsinθ, where F is the force, q is the charge of the particle, v is the velocity of the particle, B is the magnetic field, and θ is the angle between the velocity and the magnetic field. This equation is derived from the Lorentz force law and can be used to calculate the force on a charged particle moving through a magnetic field. Additionally, the direction of the force can be determined using the right-hand rule, where the thumb points in the direction of the velocity, the index finger points in the direction of the magnetic field, and the middle finger points in the direction of the force.

Given a circular loop with current flowing placed in an external magnetic field. How to account for the magnetic force the field is going to exert on the loop and in what ways it will affect it? Will it will produce any motion if the magnetic field is constant and no change in flux?

Welcome to the PF.

Schoolwork type questions need to be posted in the Homework Help section of the PF. And when you start new threads there, you must post the Relevant Equations and show your best efforts to work on the problem. At that point, we can provide tutorial help with your questions.

Enjoy the PF!
