i´m new in this fisics forum but, i would like tomake some questions about time travel...is there any specific place to put that kind of questions?
Time travel is a theoretical concept in which a person can move between different points in time, either backwards or forwards. This idea has been explored in science fiction, but is currently not possible according to our current understanding of physics.
At this time, time travel is not possible. While there are theories in physics that suggest time travel may be possible, there are currently no scientific methods or technologies that can achieve it.
Einstein's theory of relativity is a fundamental theory in physics that explains the relationship between space and time. This theory suggests that time can be affected by gravity and the speed at which an object is moving. Some scientists believe that this theory could potentially open the door to the possibility of time travel.
One of the most well-known paradoxes of time travel is the grandfather paradox, in which a person goes back in time and accidentally prevents their own existence by altering events. Other paradoxes include the bootstrap paradox, where an object or information is sent back in time in an infinite loop, and the butterfly effect, where small changes in the past can have significant impacts on the future.
While time travel is still a theoretical concept, there is ongoing research and experimentation in the field of theoretical physics. Some scientists are studying the possibility of creating a wormhole, which could potentially allow for time travel. Other researchers are exploring the effects of time dilation and how it could potentially be used for time travel. However, these are still in the early stages and there is no concrete evidence or technology for time travel at this time.
