Looking For Research Experience in the future

In summary, a Year 4 Student majoring in physics in Asia is considering pursuing a M.Phil Degree in their current school and a PhD overseas. They are aware of the importance of research experience for grad school applications but are unable to gain a lot of experience due to certain reasons. They are interested in participating in summer internships to gain more research experience and are wondering if it is possible for a M.Phil student to do so. They have been advised to check the requirements of summer student programs and are aware that degrees from outside the EU/US may be more challenging, but still possible.

Hi all, I am a coming Year 4 Student majoring in physics in Asia. I started to think about my career path in the coming year, one thing for sure is that I would definitely go for a M.Phil Degree in my school that I am studying at right now. I have been thinking to go for PhD at oversea, such as in the UK or in the US. I have heard that research experience is very important when it comes to grad school application. However, I am unable to get tons of research experience due to some particular reason. I have been participating a summer internship which is part of my final thesis in this summer. I would like to get more research experience, therefore I would like to ask the following question.

Would it be possible to participate in some summer internship for a student that is between undergrad and grad school?

Would it be possible for a M.Phil student to participate in summer internship?

Thank you all

Did you check the websites of the summer student programs? They tell you what is required.
In general degrees from outside the EU/US can be a bit tricky, but if they are similar to degrees there it should work.
