Calculate Speed of Sound with Echo Measurement
I know what you mean by if the materials are in position and not moving but i just need to know how you get the speed of sound from taking two points off (the echoes) a sound wave chart and calculating the speed of sound from that.- 29 clicks

Solving the Problem: Calculating Force on a Rock
ok i got 320N as my force of friction (from ff=uFn ff= 0.8x400N) then i use fnet= fapplied-ffriction to get 400-320=80 N use fnet in equation fnet=ma switch it around a= fnet/m a= 80N/50kg which equals 1.6 m/s2 am i right? correct me if I'm wrong please, appreciate it.- 29 clicks

Solving the Problem: Calculating Force on a Rock
I have this one problem solving question that confuses me. Someone pushes a 50kg rock a distance of 10m in a recent competition of strength. The coefficient of friction between the rock and the ground is 0.8 and the person exerts a force of 400 N. I've got my free body digram with my applied...- 29 clicks

Calculating Current for Electromagnet Lift
This is what i have so far. I = 200 A Car Mass = 360 kg F = 4200 N Q= ? I'm looking for the current required to lift the car. The only equation i know that can find is Q= I delta t and Q=Ne but i don't see how any of those equations would help. If you see something i can't then show me...- 29 clicks
