undergraduate analysis is not that bad, unless your text was Rudin. The real bad/painfull analysis starts at the gradute level. They assume you know almost everything from Rudin's text (even if you didnt use it as an undergrad). And they assume you know everything about topology.
For hard math classes like that I try to over learn the material. I do the homeworks over and over. I do as many examples that I can and if there are theorems in the book that have proofs, I usually do them over and over until I can prove them without looking. Even if the theorem looks...
If you did well in calc 1,2,3 then I would say to try and squeeze in an "intro to analysis class" if you can. You will learn a lot about proofs, some schools call it advanced calculus. As for books I would check out:
