My physics professor has asked that I express my height in GeV-1. I am about 1.8 meters tall. He has also given me a wavelength equation which goes as follows. wavelength=h/mc. He has also noted that h=c=1. Does anyone have a clue about how to go about converting these units?
I agree that the easiest way to comprehend this is to think about it in the sense that massless particles (photons) have nothing holding them back from hitting the "speed limit" of the universe.
From my understanding, nothing can surpass the speed of light do to the symmetry of the universe and how its asymptocal?. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
