Can Geomagnetic Field Statistics Explain Colony Collapse Disorder?
I am trying to find a correlation between colony collapse disorder and the change in Earth's magnetic field. I don't understand the whole physics of measuring Earth's magnetic field but I am guessing that there is some sort of measurement that has been recorded every year? I have been...- arpeggio

Schools Choosing Between Engineering and Physics: A Student's Perspective
so I had a talk with my parents about applying to university. My parents are thinking of engineering and I am thinking of physics. Obviously my parents are concerned about job prospects of pure science degrees, also worried sick that I might not get in grad school. On the other hand, I am kinda...- arpeggio

Physics and/or chemistry science book for a high school student
It is too early to start on particular branches. Just like you can't learn quadratic formulas before you learn your addition/multiplication. So you must first learn the basics of the field by studying those textbooks that I have recommended. Also, if you search this forum, there are many many...- arpeggio

Physics and/or chemistry science book for a high school student
If you have finished high school level, I think you can try Giancoli Physics (algebra version) and Zumdahl Chemistry. If you have learned calculus, you can try fundamentals of physics by halliday/resnick/walker (or any other versions of that book). Those are recommended by a lot of people I...- arpeggio

Another Question about Electric Potential
I am stuck in the same question I tried to use V= kq/r but I don't know what is r for each point the triangle are 2m length so at one of the midpoint it is \sqrt{3}, 1, 1, away from each charge do you add v=kq/r1 + v=kq/r2 and so on? -------------------------------------------------------- I...- arpeggio
