Undergrad Why Does Light Have a Maximum Speed?
I thought that light travels different speeds depending on what medium that it is in. Is it possible light goes a set speed because a vacuum is just another medium with things that slow light down? or is it just a random speed that light or whatever energy moves at? -

Undergrad Why Does Light Have a Maximum Speed?
Why does light or anything have a finite speed? In E=mc2, it gives the constant of the speed of light but I don't understand why light has a maximum speed. Is there something that slows down light? -

High School Does the Earth Have a Frequency?
This is probably a dumb question but I was wondering if the Earth had a frequency. I would think with such a massive object there would be a certain background vibration from tectonic plates moving around.- bluegold

Undergrad Can a buoyant object achieve perpetual motion?
Would a buoyant object be able to achieve perpetual motion or even past perpetual motion if it were in a machine as portrayed below?https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=93e42fc0d8&view=att&th=12ca0732e35fe2f9&attid=0.1&disp=inline&realattid=f_gh5sgy4n0&zw
