From some of the examples I found you base r off of the origin to some point. From the origin to the top of the circle is a distance of √2. Having r ∈ [√2, 2cos(Θ)] Didn't work, but replacing it with its max at 2 made it a little bit closer to the answer.

Trying to help a friend with a problem. We are supposed to solve the below using polar coordinates. The actual answer is supposed to be π/16. Solving the integral is not the issue, just converting it.

I'm working with heat transfer and need to graph theoretical results. I've tried several things and it will either throw something along the lines of "no explicit solution found" or just hang forever. I'm not new to programming, but I am new to the Matlab library. The only variable is T(t). T_0...
We were going over the structures of crystalline structures and the professor seemed to struggle to represent it nicely in 3D. I'm not sure if it is a common problem for students (I didn't think it was so hard to picture), but I decided to make a 3D representation of it that I thought would...
Mechanical Engineering student here. Haven't had too many issues with my work so far, but every once in a while you will see me in here trying to find out how to do something unusual or unexplored at my level.
I got a used keyboard on eBay, and it works just fine except for one key. It is slightly bent on one side (no idea how they managed that without taking the key out and stepping on it or something) and is clamping down on the channel it rests in. Because of that, when it is pressed in, it stays...
