Determine flux in air gap (Magnetic Core)
Hmm I must've miscalculated when doing mesh then. I did mesh but my answer was 3mWb. I'm supposed to get the same answer as the way I did KVL right ? I see. Thanks again man :)- ElectroViruz

Determine flux in air gap (Magnetic Core)
Thank you ! I was able to get the answer :) Here's what I did *After finding the RC1, RC2, RC3 and Rgap Φ3 is the flux that goes through the air gap Using KVL: Loop 1: -2000 + (RC2 + Rgap) Φ3 + RC1Φ1 = 0 15915.49 Φ3 + 397887.36 Φ3 + 39788.74 Φ1 = 2000 39788.74 Φ1 +...- ElectroViruz

Determine flux in air gap (Magnetic Core)
I really appreciate your help, cn1995. I apologise if this question seem effortless to solve, but I am having difficulties with it. I'm doing my mechanical degree first year but I have electric subjects as well. Can you help me verify if RCORE= 95480.6 1/H or 39789 1/H ? I noticed that...- ElectroViruz

Determine flux in air gap (Magnetic Core)
When the question says neglect fringing and flux leakage, it's safe to say that Φ = BcAc = BgAg right ? So can we also say that Ac = Ag ? The problem now is, to get the MMF, I require the Rc and Rg, and Rg requires Ag that the question does not provide. Otherwise, how do you suggest that I...- ElectroViruz

Determine flux in air gap (Magnetic Core)
So we'd get the net flux of 2000AT which is only going in one direction clockwise right ? Some of my buds were saying it's supposed to be parallel because both ends of the coil connects to each other.- ElectroViruz

Determine flux in air gap (Magnetic Core)
But isn't the flux going against each other at the corner ? Left coil flux goes up, and the top coil goes to the left. How do we deal with that ?- ElectroViruz

Determine flux in air gap (Magnetic Core)
1. Homework Statement As shown above Homework Equations *Not too sure if they are relevant. Pretty sure there's more. We have textbooks from the library as references but we still can't quite figure it out :/ Φ = BcAc = BgAg B = Φ/Ac = (Ni/R)/Ac R = lc/(Ac.μ) The Attempt at a Solution...- ElectroViruz

Projectile Motion Ball throw Question
Yeaaa you made an error with the components on the vertical and horizontal directions. Drawing a diagram for the components always helps. Make it a habit to make sure your components are right.- ElectroViruz

High School Gravitational Force of an object
Just a little curious. What formula did Sir Isaac Newton used to find out the exact value of Earth's gravitational force ? Can we apply that formula to find out the gravitational force of other objects ? Let's say, calculating the gravitational force that my bottle has or our body. I know that...- ElectroViruz

Why Does the Equation [ x / (x - 3) ] + 3 = 3 / (x - 3) Have No Solution?
Thank you. I was going to ask how do I prove that there's no solution. So technically, switching the right hand side fraction to the left hand side isn't the solution, but making the statement beforehand by stating that the rational expression whereby x ≠ 3, then get my answer which is x = 3...- ElectroViruz

Why Does the Equation [ x / (x - 3) ] + 3 = 3 / (x - 3) Have No Solution?
OH SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. OMFG. THANKS. I CAN'T BELIEVE I DIDN'T SEE THAT. KILL ME PLS. EDIT : Oh umm umm, so that would mean that it's possible to bring a fraction to the other side like that ? *Haven't really done that in high school maths.- ElectroViruz

Why Does the Equation [ x / (x - 3) ] + 3 = 3 / (x - 3) Have No Solution?
Question : [ x / (x - 3) ] + 3 = 3 / (x - 3) Attempt : So what I did was simplifying the left hand side of the equation, [ x / (x -3) ] + (3 / 1) = 3 / (x - 3) [(4x - 9) / ( x - 3) ] = 3 / (x - 3) then bring the (x - 3) from the right hand side to the left hand side to multiply [ (4x - 9)...- ElectroViruz
