nevermind i think i solved it. my calculator had a setting messed up somewhere that i couldn't find and kept giving me errors.
i reset my calculator and was able to solve it.

A race car starts from rest on a circular track. The car increases its speed at a constant rate at as it goes 2.25 times around the track. Find the angle that the total acceleration of the car makes with the radius connecting the center of the track and the car at the moment...
it turns out that there isn't any calculation necessary, and your answer is correct. i thought the question was asking for a unit vector with the same angle as the given vector.
A Unit vector is a vector with a magnitude of 1, that's where all of my calculations came from - which apparently...
i completely agree with you but you still didnt provide a precise enough way in order to get that second graph. By calculating the quadratic regression, and getting the quadratic formula, you achieve a clear graph of which you can calculate the regression and therefor properly answer the...
Maybe it has to do something with unit vector notation. is there a specific notation?Or maybe we both got the answer wrong. Either way I am not getting my homework credit right now
That link didnt help as i know how to find a tangent at a given point. Now what did help is solving for the quadratic equation that is formed by those dots. I realized that by calculating the quadratic regression, i can get a quadratic formula that holds all of those points.
We are allowed...

The Attempt at a Solution
My attempt was based on the idea that both triangles formed by the vector components (x component, y component, and the hypotenuse which is the magnitude of the...
Drawing the graph isn't difficult, you plot the points and connect the line. The part that i got stuck at was getting the instantaneous velocity. How can you get the derivative of a function at specific points when you don't know what the funcrion is?
