Undergrad Trajectory of object around the moon as function of time
Thank you, i didn't know that. But I think i'll just calculate it as uniform sphere, just to keep it simple ;-)- Henriklm

Solving equations numerically in Mathcad 2001i Professional
I'm not sure how to use the "for" function, but here goes http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/6548/billedtilsp.jpg mmåne = mass of moon mjord = mass of earth xmåne = x position of moon ymåne = y position of moon Earth = (0;0) Could this be a solution? Am i going down the right...- Henriklm

Solving equations numerically in Mathcad 2001i Professional
Homework Statement Hey there.. I would like to make a path for a spacecraft from Earth to moon, and back again. I found this pdf that explains how, but i can't figure it out.Homework Equations http://courses.ncssm.edu/math/NCSSM%...r%203/Moon.pdf "Part II: The slingshot around the Moon...- Henriklm

Undergrad Trajectory of object around the moon as function of time
Nice! :D Must have been quite a task for NASA then. How can I get a computer to solve it numerically? I can calculate the acceleration in the x and y direction at a given position, an then calculate the new velocity and position, and then start over, but I need to define an equation to do this...- Henriklm

Undergrad Trajectory of object around the moon as function of time
Thanks for the answer :-) Hmm okay, I've read that somewhere before, just didn't understand what it meant. Can it be solved numerically? Or is there another convenient way to descripe the trajectory?- Henriklm

Undergrad Trajectory of object around the moon as function of time
Hello :-) I'am trying to figure out how to describe a trajectory of an object as a function of time. The object is a spacecraft and it sets of from Earth, travels around the moon, and then heads back to Earth...- Henriklm
