Melting Point of Inert Gas Crystals: Neon, Argon, Krypton & Xenon

Thanks, Astronuc for those links ! I am doing a project to find out the Bulk Modulus and Energy variation of Inert Gas Crystals using Lennard-Jones Potential . So wanted to quote some simple properties of inert gas crystals in the introduction part. all at 0 Kelvin . Now i have got the...

Melting Point of Inert Gas Crystals: Neon, Argon, Krypton & Xenon

I am in search of physical properties of inert gas crystals ( such as colour, lustre, etc). I could get only the melting point. Specifically, i want for Neon, Argon, Krypton and Xenon which are fcc.

Vecctor analysis and got the mathematical formulae for gradient

I was reading vecctor analysis and got the mathematical formulae for gradient but could not understand its physical meaning. What is the physical meaning of gradient of a scalar ? And of a vector . Also, I wanted to know the physical meanings of Divergence and Curl .

RADAR - Radio Detection and RangingCan we use the same technique on

Astronuc, russ_watters,Mk all of you : thanks a lot ! But there are some bad news, my proposal for this project has been rejected :-( . I'll do some other theoretical project which requires some programming, which one, I will tell when the time comes. Anyway, sorry if I hurt you guys.

RADAR - Radio Detection and RangingCan we use the same technique on

RADAR - Radio Detection and Ranging . Can we use the same technique on a smaller scale  ? I mean to measure the relative velocity between two vehicles  ? Are there any good sources on internet where I can get information in detail about the working of RADAR system...

Understanding the Paradox of Backward Time Travel: Why We Can't Go Back

I have not gone thru all the posts in the thread, except the first one and the last one. Accidently I came across a bit of information on BBC, just have a look about wht kind of backwards time travel can be possible. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/4097258.stm

Einstein-De Hass Effect: Explained and Explored | Research Project Guide

Home Experiment Today, I took a transparent light weight plastic hollow cylinder ( about 3.5 cm in diameter and 15 cm in length and may be 0.5 mm thick) . Tightly coiled a wire ( simple electric wire ) around it . No. of turns are 50 . Suspend an iron rod in between ( so that it does not touch...

Einstein-De Hass Effect: Explained and Explored | Research Project Guide

 I have a research project to be done and I want to know what is Einstein-De Hass Effect. It is magneto-mechanical effect, something happens on suspending iron rod in a ring magnet but i don't have any further information on it . If I can get some links which explains what is...
