Middle School Science Question: Conductivity of Water

Pure water is actually a conductor, since the H2O molecules will dissociate themselves into ions, although it is of very low concentration

Photoelectric Effect: Is There a Problem?

My physics teacher told me that in photoelectric effect, only one photon can be absorbed by one electron. Not more than one photon can be absorbed during the emission of electron. But a beam of light is a stream of photons! The chance for two or more photons colliding with the same electron...

Why most of the planetary orbits are ellipitical?

Thank you all ! :) So in conclusion the elliptical orbits are the results of combined gravitational forces from other planets and stars. Does it mean that the orbits are actually changing their shapes with time?

Why most of the planetary orbits are ellipitical?

theoretically by GMm/r^2 = mv^2/r, planets in a particular distance to the star will move in the corresponding velocity in order to maintain a circular orbit... either over speed they will pass by the star, or under speed they will be attracted towards the star in a spiral way So why are...

F=ma, what is m actually means?

My maths teacher taught me that vector cannot divide vector but the physics states that F and A are vectors so m=F/A, what m means? are there any differences about maths vector and phy vectors?
