Frequency Response: Understanding Signals & Systems
I'm doing my best to understand signals and systems. So I will give an example of what I'm talking about. you have a pressure transducer that has a 24vdc power supply and a voltage of 0-5vdc to measure the change in pressure, with the 0-5vdc connected to an analog to digital converter. With the...- jaredokie

Bode Plots & Frequency in Control Systems: Demystified
What frequency are they referring to when they plot magnitude versus frequency in a bode plot of a control system? I don't understand where frequency comes from in control systems. I've researched this and I'm still very confused by what is meant by frequency.- jaredokie

Digital PID Controller: Windows OS, Processor Config/Software?
I am trying to understand the process of a digital pid controller that operates with/in a Windows operating system. By process I mean the sequence of steps a computer software system takes to adjust the output of the system whether the process be cruise control, temperature, pressure etc. So I'm...- jaredokie

Are Electrical Components Key to Filtering Noise in Digital PID Controllers?
Is the laplace transform the most commonly used transform? And does a temperature controller already have the needed heat transfer equations built into the program? For instance Eurotherm temperature controllers. All that is needed are tuning parameters right?- jaredokie
