I understand that the magnetic field at points inside the solenoid is the vector sum of the B field due to each ring. How can the field inside be uniform then since if you consider just one loop in the solenoid the value of the B field is different at different points in that circle or loop.
if you divide the beam into fibers then the top fiber becomes shorter with compression and the bottom most fiber elongates with tension(this is for the case where the beam bends such that is smiling at you). Neutral axis/surface is a just a fiber that lies between these the top and bottom and...
Two objects of masses 2.0 kg and 6.0kg slide without friction
down the sides of a hemispherical bowl. Both start with zero velocity at
the lip, which is 12 cm above the bottom. The objects collide at the bottom of the bowl. Just
before the collision, they are moving at right angles to each...
i got it. thanks. would i be right in saying that the the only term with x^18 in the series would be coming from summation 0 to infinity (x^3n) when n = 6 on the right hand side. c_18x^18 = x^18 meaning c_18 = 1. Similarly the only term with x^19 on the right hand side is when n = 6 where it is...
