Hoping to control the speed using a wireless remote control. Do you have any good reference on where I could educate myself on this? Need basic stuffs for starters.
I was tempted to just order something online and just try to assemble them yesterday but I read some threads that doing so will...
They're 6V motors - currently assembled with universal Tamiya gearboxes, powered using simple wiring to a 9V battery. I have not done anything which include microcontroller board or those of sort whatsoever. This includes RF stuffs too.
It is a one off project and it does not require a 'neat'...
I have to build a device which have 4 dof governed by 4 separate motors. Need to remotely control which was the motor spins and when to stop them.
What equipment do I need? and is there any guidelines?
Need help asap.
Thanks,
Err.. what do u already know about this bearing? If u know enough parameter I suppose you could use Petroff's equation to find the coefficient of friction?
If can't then I'm not too sure about it too, perhaps have a look at the textbook "Fundamentals of Machine Component Design" by Juvinall...
What did you mean by time history though?
This is quite a specific project on a specific mine site and the data was just recorded every minute since 25th November.
I am now waiting for the second lot of data since it was found that the data on the first lot contains many errors in it...
If you know the crossed sectional area, A, then the volume flow rate at the crossed section can be defined as:
Q = vA
where v is the velocity,
if you equate these two equations, you will get
F = rho.A.v^2
from this you could probably find v and ultimately, Q.
OMG this is so..sad. why did they give this research project to a third year uni student T.T
Ok, thanks for your help anyways, aye? I might need to talk to my supervisor about it.
Hey Cyrus, thanks for your reply, sorry I'm not very good at STAT here but I currently have to analyse quite a huge set of data. The first lot they sent me has around 7000 observations (and I'm trying to relate the temperature with speed, pressure etc) so how many "strange observations" am I...
I've just started a research on the tyre of mining trucks and am a bit unsure on how to calculate the TKPH ratings.
Say for this set of data from VIMS,
GMW = 390 tons
Payload = 245.1 tons
Total cycle time = 15:29 minutes
Total cycle distance = 6.8 km
And that is one shift.
So, mean tyre...
