Fix Ultrasonic Processor Problem - 20 kHz, 500W Power

Hi, Alan. Thank you very much for your reply. Last year we bought Hielscher UIP1000 (the same as you did). You are completely right - there is no trouble with processor except the quick erosion of the sonotrode's surface. But it is almost nothing with the overheating of a small one...

Fix Ultrasonic Processor Problem - 20 kHz, 500W Power

There is no specific installation that is required to this us device. I am in touch with the technician from the company where this device has been bought. He suggested me to cool down the converter with dry cold air when using the device continuously at the maximal output power longer than even...

Fix Ultrasonic Processor Problem - 20 kHz, 500W Power

you are right - the problem is in overheating. The piezoelements inside the converter have been broken - the hole in one of it. The converter schould be cooled down with dry cold air, but it is sealed.

Final Products of Ferrocyanide Reduction: K4[Fe(CN)4] and Sodium Thiosulfate

ferrocyanide reaction Thanks for reply. I think that I have already written the final products of this reaction: 2Fe(CN)4-6 and S4O2-6 - ionic parts, (K4[Fe(CN)4] and sodium thiosilfate). Hope it's right...

Final Products of Ferrocyanide Reduction: K4[Fe(CN)4] and Sodium Thiosulfate

Help me please to finish this reaction of the ferrocyanide reduction: K3Fe(CN)6 + Na2S2O3 + H2O=...? the electron transfer reaction inthis case is 2Fe(CN)3-6 + 2S2O3 = 2Fe(CN)4-6 + S4O2-6. Wondering what are the final products of the upper reaction.

Fix Ultrasonic Processor Problem - 20 kHz, 500W Power

I am dealing with the ultrasonic processor with the frequency 20 kHz. It's output power can be varied from 20% to 100% (500W). The problem is that it doesn't work at 100%. Even at 90% it works only for 1 min. At the power lower than 70% it operates longer time. Could you help me to find out...

    Concentration of synthesized nanoparticles

Thanks I will think it over

    Concentration of synthesized nanoparticles

you are right. Actually I need the definition of the concentration. How to define it correctly using the Uv-vis absorbance or calculating the density (volume) taking into account the initial concentration of precursors?

    Concentration of synthesized nanoparticles

many thanks, but to do it I should contact either Mr.Stephen Africk or to buy this device. What I need is to calculate the concentration of produced nanoparticles using common simple methods, applying Uv-vis spectroscopy or some chemical calculations

    Concentration of synthesized nanoparticles

Hi! I am dealing with the synthesis of inorganic metallic nanoparticles and at the moment looking for the methods how to define the concentration of final nanoparticles in the colloidal solution.
