Particle Size after Dissolved in water
If I have a powder, when I dissolve that powder into solution, will it become very small fine particles in the water? so that if I coat it on something, it will become a very small thin layer when I dehydrate that compound? -

Differential Equations or not That is the Question
That's not an option unfortunately, my curriculum says I only need to take Calc 1, Calc 2, and Diff EQs It just comes down to this: how much of Diff EQs relies on the Calc 2 material?- kscribble

My life is collapsing, I feel like killing myself. PF, me
You need to change yourself... In my opinion, most of my classmates suffer from caring SOOOOoooo much about their grades. It's really the least important thing. If you KNOW you can do something, and you did it to the best of your ability, it doesn't matter what grade you got. For example...- kscribble

Differential Equations or not That is the Question
Next year I'll be entering my first year in college, and I'm not sure if I should skip Calculus 1 and Calculus 2. I have both credits from my AP scores, I'm much more confident in my Calc 1 skills than Calc 2, because I don't really remember anything from series and sequences really... I'm...- kscribble

Undergrad A general question about Surface Area
This question is about the surface area of a function defined as f(x) rotated around the x-axis Now I understand how the ACTUAL integral works to find the surface area, but I'm wondering why a different integral wouldn't work... \int [SIZE="3"]2\pi*f(x) dx wouldn't this add up the... -

Understanding Periodic Motion Square Graphs
I'm doing an experiment on periodic motion using a spring and a mass on the end. My teacher wants us to graph T^2 and mass, but i don't understand we don't just graph T. I hope someone understands what I mean - kscribble
