MHB Can someone help me find the derivative of y=$\sqrt{x+\sqrt{x+\sqrt{x}}}$?
Yes, this is what I have so far... I am not sure how to do it your way. Is what I did completely wrong?? -

MHB Can someone help me find the derivative of y=$\sqrt{x+\sqrt{x+\sqrt{x}}}$?
Hi, this is my online homework exercise. I think I did it right, but the system gives me wrong answer... Can someone please check what I did y=$\sqrt{x+\sqrt{x+\sqrt{x}}}$... -

MHB Solve Derivative Questions with Quotient Rule
Thank you, I like Serena and SuperSonic4! Question (b) I did with quotient rule: g$^{\prime}$=$\frac{0sinx-1*cosx}{{sinx}^{2}}$=$\frac{-cosx}{{sinx}^{2}}$ but how to do it with Chain Rule? This fraction confuses me:confused: Thank you again for helping! -

MHB Solve Derivative Questions with Quotient Rule
Hello, I am struggling with these two questions. I think here should be used a quotient rule, but I am not sure how to proceed. a) f(x)=sin$\frac{1}{x}$ b)g(x)=$\frac{1}{sinx}$ Can someone please help. Thanks -

MHB How to Solve Trigonometric Functions When \( \cos(t) = -\frac{9}{10} \)?
I finally did this problem and the answers are correct. Posting just in case anyone else is interested cos(2t)=$\frac{31}{50}$ sin(2t)=$\frac{9\sqrt{19}}{50}$ cos(t2)=$\frac{-\sqrt{5}}{10}$ sin(t2)=$\frac{\sqrt{95}}{10}$ -

MHB How to Solve Trigonometric Functions When \( \cos(t) = -\frac{9}{10} \)?
Well, I know these identities, but as I said I am not sure how to use them in this question. Can you elaborate? Thanks -

MHB How to Solve Trigonometric Functions When \( \cos(t) = -\frac{9}{10} \)?
Hello, I am trying to solve this. This material is not covered in my class, but I still want to know how to do it. If cos(t)=$\frac{-9}{10}$ where $\pi$ <t<$\frac{3\pi}{2}$ find the values of cos(2t)= sin(2t)= cos($\frac{t}{2}$)= sin($\frac{t}{2}$)= Give exact answers, do not use decimal... -

MHB Mastering the Chain Rule: Derivative of a Complex Function | Tips & Tricks
Thank you! I tried your answer, but it is still wrong according to my school exercise system (we have online tool for practice questions), may be it is just a format it doesn't accept... By the way, I am so bad at algebra, I am still confused about your simplification... where -2 and 27 came... -

MHB Mastering the Chain Rule: Derivative of a Complex Function | Tips & Tricks
Hello, I solved this exercise, but I probably did mistake in simplification... f(x)=${\left(-2{x}^{2}+3\right)}^{4}$${\left(9{x}^{2}+7\right)}^{12}$ They asked to find derivative, so here is what I did... -

MHB Simplifying the Product Rule for Derivatives
Yes, I see that, but will it make it simplified... Here is what I have ${e}^{x}$(4${x}^{2}$-6x-1) Is that it? Thank you for helping!
