Solving a Third Order Differential Equation with Initial Conditions
I'm interested in solving this 3rd order DE y'''=3*y*y' with conds y(0)=-2, y'(0)=0, y''(0)=4,5. Thanks for any ideas.. I've the right solution, but the problem is how to achieve it.- math_addict

Graduate Hi how to solve? y(y-2x(y'))^3=(y')^2
The right solutions are y^2=2*(C^3)*x + C^2 and 27*(x^2)*(y^2)=1. Hmm.. Lagrange method doesn't fit properly here- math_addict

Graduate Hi how to solve? y(y-2x(y'))^3=(y')^2
I tried this way, but it didn't give me any positive result. Moreover even Maple can't solve it exact.. it gives me huge expression..- math_addict
