    Welcome to PF!

    What types of simulations have you worked on? and what tools?

    I'm always curious to see what people use. From my limited experience, it's either Matlab, python with NumPy, custom code in Java, C or Fortran, and more recently MIT's Julia.

    The topic where I work is mainly the heating of plasmas (RF and NBI). The tools are the Fokker-Planck code, ray-tracing, transport code, etc. The work language is Fortran-90.
