PI controller (feed back control) for boost converter
Also, how do I adjust the voltage on the Integral gain constant ? How much should VCONTROL be ? should it be set to 300V, and the settings on VPULSE , Are those OK ?- Naeem

PI controller (feed back control) for boost converter
No, it is a closed loop system. I think the negative of the VCONTROL should go to the output of the VCAP. That should provide a feedback path. Assuming that is done. How do I adjust the gains ?- Naeem

PI controller (feed back control) for boost converter
Hello Everyone, I am trying to put together a PI controller for a boost converter. Vin = 150V Vout = 300V (Require this much boost) Switching Frequency = 25KHz I am attaching a schematic in PSPICE. Please , someone, tell me if the connections are right. Also V-PULSE / SAWTOOTH = (0...- Naeem

Wallace 8x8 Multiplier Need Help
There are three steps in wallace tree : 1. AND'ing each bit. 2. Use half and full adders. 3. Adding the two outputs to an adder to get the product. What I don't understand is the reduction at each level ?- Naeem

Complex Number's Assignment (From my signals class)
Q1. If j = square root of - 1 what is square root of j ? what I did was : Plug in the value of j in square root of j and came up with -1 to the power of 0.25. Is this right. Looks like this wrong. Q2. Given a complex number w = x + jy, the complex congugate of w is defined in...- Naeem

Free way Sign Problem - Statics
I just typed out the question from the textbook as is. The sign is hanging straight up in the x - z plane. The wind blowing on the freeway exit sign and the weight of the sign are represented by point loadings acting at the center of the sign, as shown in the sketch. The force of the wind...- Naeem

Free way Sign Problem - Statics
Q. The base of the freeway sign is attached to its foundation with four bolts. The four bolts must be able to resist the twisiting of the pole that is caused by the wind. Assume each bolt carries the same force. If the diameter of the bolt circle is 0.9m, calculate the horizontal (shear) force on...- Naeem

How Do You Calculate Friction and Normal Force on an Incline?
Yes, I agree with what you are saying. The 600 N , force is actually the weight of the copying machine but, The arrow is pointing downward on the man in the picture. Also, the frictional force must act in the opposite, direction, but I described the picture "AS IS" to you from the book. Do you...- Naeem

How Do You Calculate Friction and Normal Force on an Incline?
Believe Me Gokul, I shall type the entire question, from the book, and I shall describe the figure from the book to the best of my ability. Q. A man is pushing a copy machine that weighs 600 N up an incline. A free-body diagram if the man is shown in E4.6.38 a. If the net force in...- Naeem
