What is the time evolution of the wave function?
Thanks so much for replying to my question. Fortunately I was able to find an answer without using the evolution operator. I basically went through solving with the Schrödinger equation with setting up the solutions of the differential equations based on the regions. And had the same K value you...- Panic Attack

How to Calculate the Maximum Energy of Ejected Electrons?
I think I have an answer, but I don't know if it is right... E = Wo + KE, where Wo = 1.225*10^-19, in which I solved for E = hc/lambda = 6.62*10^-34 * 3*10^8 / 150*10^-19 = 1.324*10^-18 E = Wo + KE 1.324*10^-18 = 1.225*10^-19 + KE KE = 1.2015*10^-19? Can someone tell me if this...- Panic Attack

How to Calculate the Maximum Energy of Ejected Electrons?
Homework Statement What is the maximum energy of the ejected electrons? When the radiation wavelength is 100 nm, and the stopping potential of the metal is 8. Homework Equations KE = hc/wavelength - Wo The Attempt at a Solution I found the work function and the cut off wavelength...- Panic Attack

What is the time evolution of the wave function?
Ok, I have a 1-D box confined at at x = 0 and x = L. So, points between 0 and L distances are the continuum state and otherwise distances be discontinous. a) I need to find the egien functs: Un(x) and related egien values: En ... n are the excited levels represented as positive whole numbers...- Panic Attack

Designing a parachute system/device
THis will be another component I will do intensive research. A "dead-man switch" sounds like what I am looking for. I think we have an extra channel that sends a relay. I am curious, does the "dead man's switch" do all of this or do I need multiple connections and receivers/transmitters... lol...- Panic Attack

Designing a parachute system/device
Its just a regular transmiter that communicates with remote. Your fail safe system sounds like what I am trying to make. But I have to "design" it for our platform. Its for school. the fail-safe function sounds perfect... i ll do a google search on "fail-safe systems" and see how to design one...- Panic Attack

Designing a parachute system/device
I am trying to build a system to activate a servo at a unspecified point in time when a machine and remote looses their signal between another. When the signal is lost between the two, the new system must activate a servo. We are using radio transmitters, but I can't figure out how to tackle...- Panic Attack
