Questions 3 (last one for tonight - tried)
I would say that the answer is
C- the element is an inductor
Since the voltage leads and the current lags behind makes me choice this one.
question 2
My answer would be
d- induced magnetic field clockwise.
Reasoning- using the right hand rule with the thumb (V) pointing down, my fingers would rotate around clockwise. :confused:
Ok i am studing and the book doesn't give answers. Here are a few questions i gave. What do you think.
I will list pictures and test.
For pic/question 1 - Will the answer be
d - roatating the loop 90 degree ?
Would it make sense that since the magnetic field is going into the paper i...
If you can find a site that has examples/tips of sub variables and moving them around please post it. I cannot find anything. I checked both with yahoo and google. You know of any ?
This is holding me back in my studying.
If i have an equation like
tan = v^2 / r * g
and i want v^2
How do i solve for this ?
Also what are these methods call so i can search for them. I search for "linear equation " but didn't find what i was looking for.
Ok i am just moving around variables and the book got a result i cannot understand.
I have v = Vo + a*t
I want to solve for t
so i first moved the v over
Giving me 0 = Vo-V + a* t
Then i want to divide by t
giving t = Vo-V + a Right ?
the book has
...V - Vo
t= ------...
I did get that part (putting my head back in the book). I also think i am just getting really tired.
sin - o/h
cos - a/h
I was looking at the angles wrong.
For finding vextor componets for do i always us the sine to find y comp
and cos for x -comp ?
Also with kinematics when do i know which equation to use. Any tips or site with info would be great. This is my first post be gentle :-p
