    Magnitude and Light brightness question

Its about intensity, which is given by power/area is proportional to intensity. So technically, the nearer one will have its intensity higher. If we're considering a 3 dimensional space, which is in your question, then yes. If we're talking about 1 dimensional then no

A quick conception question Newtonian physics

i was having an argument with my friend. He claims that acceleration for object that is lighter, let say a stone (1000kg) and ball (1kg). If we were to throw them up in the sky with the same initial speed, their acceleration would always be 9.81ms^2 (depending on sign conventions). Am i right...

    Chemistry equilibrium clarifications

im sorry but i still don't understand, since your Kc will remain constant, means your equilibrium position will not change right? But by LCP the position will change thus equilibrium constant Kc will change right? ( I am dam weak in chemistry :( )

    Chemistry equilibrium clarifications

just to add, a really big thanks if advance. I have an upcoming chem test and this is fretting all over my brain.

    Chemistry equilibrium clarifications

-My notes says: 1.Value of equilibrium constant (Kc) provides a measure of the position of equilibrium. 2.Position of equilibrium indicates whether the system contains a larger proportion of reactants or products. Next, it mentioned, changing the concentration of reactants doesn't change...

    Variation of gravitation field strength?

Hi all, this will be my first physics qns:D more to come... I just learned that value of g at the equator is not exactly equal to the gravitational field strength. Can anyone explain with workings? i don't really understand my teacher workings. Also can i clarify if -We're assuming Earth...
