Can anyone help me by discussing the charging and discharging methods of ordinary acid batteries which are used in inverters, cars etc and that of the dry cells in detail? Please give me any link where these methods are elaborately discussed.
I think they are same in case of rotating generators because the fundamental law there is Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction but in battery it is not true. Here voltage is generated from chemical reaction.

I have not any clear idea about the saturation region of a transistor. Can anyone help me in detail? What parameter actually becomes saturated in this region? Why are both the junctions becomes forward biased? Is it possible to widen this region for a particular transistor?
