Solve Gauss' Law for Electric Field - Help Here!
erm. outside is conducting so I don't believe it has any electrical field on the inside, please correct me if I'm wrong..but uh, just do the flux = E(2pi*r*l), and then use gauss', treating it as a line of charge (lambda*l)/epsilonknot do a bit of algebra, treating the center of the inner...- username2

How Does Inserting a Dielectric Affect Voltage in an Uncharged Capacitor?
you just answered your own question. there is also less room for particles to lose potential over.- username2

What is the speed and normal force of a bead sliding around a loop-the-loop?
Think of this problem as a falling loop, there is no friction, so just treat the loop as if it has rolled down and had its center of mass accelerated at 9.8m/s^2 down a wall height h. now simply use the equations for potential and kinetic energy and you're done.- username2

I can't seem to figure out how to start this
A Uniform pool ball mass 'm' and raidus 'r' begins at rest. It is given horizontal impulse J of fixed magnitude at a distance br above its center where -1<=B<=1. Coefficient of kinetic friction between ball and table is u. Assume both ball and table are rigid. Find an expression for the final...- username2
