Fundamental Frequency, Shortening the length of the spring

The fundamental frequency of a spring that is 25 cm long is 441 Hz. In order to produce a fundamental frequency, using the same spring of 525 Hz, the string must be shortened to what length? I'm honestly not even sure how to start this question. Please help :(

Kinetic Energy of 840 Kg Roller Coaster Trolley

A roller coaster trolley and its passengers have a mass 840 Kg. The trolly comes over the top of the first hill with a speed of .200 m/s. The hill is 85.0 m above the ground. The trolley goes down the first hill and up the crest of the second hill 64.0 m above ground. Ignore the effects of...

Gravitational potential, highest point, and final velocity

The rocket energy would be converted back to potential energy before falling to earth. Since its a system without any external forces its isolated. So that would be the Ek=Ep ? So then the answer to B) would be 4.08 x 10^4J ? Then for C would be 1.39 x 10^3m .

Gravitational potential, highest point, and final velocity

A model rocket has a mass of 3.00kg. It is fired so that when it is 220 m above the ground it is traveling vertically at 165m/s. At the point its fuel runs out so that the rest of the flight is without power. Assume that the effect of air friction is negligible and that all potential energies...

Angle between Displacement and Force: 87.9 Degrees | Work and Energy Calculation

    I used the formula. W=(Force)(displacement) 12500J= cos(x)(640N)(24.0m) x= 35.5 degrees

Angle between Displacement and Force: 87.9 Degrees | Work and Energy Calculation

I used cos=(24.0m)/(640N) =87.9 degrees I feel as though i should be taking into account the work that done, but I'm not exactly sure how to.

Angle between Displacement and Force: 87.9 Degrees | Work and Energy Calculation

A force of 640 N does 12 500 J of work over a displacement of 24.0m. What is the angle between the displacement and force? I get a answer of 87.9 degrees.

Determining the force that is required

A force acts an angle of 30.0 degrees relatives to the directions of displacement. What force is required to do 9600 J of work over a displacement of 25.0 m? The solution that i am getting is 443 N of Force, but I'm not sure if i am doing it right though.
