Entry levels in my group can do everything the senior engineers can do in general, like staff and plan wind tunnel testing, do various studies on new airfoil technologies, new and innovative control surface types and configuration, airplane derivatives, new airplane studies, and more. Entry...
I would love to see a dedicated aerospace engineering section. The easy solution is to move the current ME/Aero forum into its own archive so we don't have to retroactively move hundreds of threads to a new forum. Then we can decide on a standard with which to identify a thread as Aero or ME...

Since nuclear engineering is basically the same as other engineering majors during the first two years, you can go to a branch campus to complete your pre-engineering/gen ed courses. The Nuc E classes, however, are only offered at main campus (State College).
Penn State isn't just a party school. You want to know if it's at the top, but you didn't specify which program you're interested in. For example, it's the top school in PA for aerospace engineering because it's the only one!

The B.S. in Aerospace Engineering covers 27 of a required 45 credits in general education classes. Like other schools, you don't really get into aerospace engineering classes until junior year, and your engineering curriculum is much like all the other engineering ones for the first two years...
