Is This Magnet Motor Doomed to Fail?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on skepticism regarding the viability of a specific magnet motor design. Participants express a general consensus that perpetual motion machines, including magnet motors, are fundamentally flawed and unlikely to work. The belief in such devices is often rooted in strong conviction, despite overwhelming evidence against their feasibility. The consensus is that if a concept seems too good to be true, it typically is, leading to a definitive conclusion that the magnet motor in question is unlikely to succeed. Overall, the thread emphasizes the challenges and mathematical complexities involved in proving the functionality of magnet motors.

Can you please tell me whether you think this magnet motor will work or not?
If not then what is the reason why not.

Most magnet motors seem to have a bad press, so I don't hold much hope for this one:

Thank you.

Perpetual motion machines don't work - it's not usually worth discussing it because the people who believe in them REALLY beleive.
But if you are interested see

Magnet ones, in particular, are difficult to explain without a lot of maths - but if it looks too good to be true, it is!

Simple answer, NO.

Hi all, i have some questions about the tesla turbine: is a tesla turbine more efficient than a steam engine or a stirling engine ? about the discs of the tesla turbine warping because of the high speed rotations; does running the engine on a lower speed solve that or will the discs warp anyway after time ? what is the difference in efficiency between the tesla turbine running at high speed and running it at a lower speed ( as fast as possible but low enough to not warp de discs) and: i...

My water meter is submerged under water for about 95% of the year. Today I took a photograph of the inside of my water meter box because today is one of the rare days that my water meter is not submerged in water. Here is the photograph that I took of my water meter with the cover on: Here is a photograph I took of my water meter with the cover off: I edited the photograph to draw a red circle around a knob on my water meter. Is that knob that I drew a red circle around my meter...
