You scored 7 points out of 12 points total.

A lot of trivia here, but same for most of these quizzes (also true of TV and school quiz competitions, except for math competitions).

Same for me.

1. What is the chemical composition of ice?

Ice is made up of water molecules in a crystalline structure, with each molecule consisting of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom (H2O).

2. How is ice formed?

Ice forms when water molecules lose energy and come together in a rigid, hexagonal structure due to freezing temperatures.

3. Can ice be found on other planets?

Yes, ice has been found on other planets and moons in our solar system, such as Mars and some of Jupiter's moons. It is also believed to exist on other planets outside of our solar system.

4. Why does ice float on water?

Ice floats on water because it is less dense than liquid water. As water freezes, its molecules form a lattice-like structure, creating more space between them and causing the ice to be less dense than the liquid water.

5. Can ice be used for anything other than cooling drinks?

Yes, ice has many uses beyond just cooling drinks. It is used in sports to create ice rinks and to cool athletes during games. It is also used in the preservation and transportation of food and in medical treatments for inflammation and pain relief.
