Note that for copper wire
0 gauge is about 0.1 ohms per 1000 feet
10 gauge is about 1.0 ohms per 1000 feet
20 gauge is about 10 ohms per 1000 feet
30 gauge is about 100 ohms per 1000 feet
40 gauge is about 1000 ohms per 1000 feet
