Anything other than matter and space

Everything in our universe can be said to be matter, universe or rules that govern it.
So can you think of something other than that which a universe can have? (I'm not even sure if I understand this question but still)
I know it's hard for us to think of something that we do not know but can we have something other that matter, space and rules that govern them.

I'm not really writing a sci-fi novel/movie but I suppose this question best fits here.
Also hope my question makes sense!

Yes, it is possible to imagine something other than matter, space, and rules in a universe. One could imagine a universe where energy or consciousness is the fundamental building block instead of matter. Or a universe where the laws of physics are completely different and do not follow the same rules as our universe. There could also be multiple universes with their own unique set of elements and rules. It is also possible to imagine a universe where there is no concept of time or space as we understand it. The possibilities are endless and it is a fascinating concept to explore. Whether it is for a sci-fi novel or simply for the sake of imagination, the idea of a universe beyond our current understanding is intriguing.
