AutoCAD inventor as CFD software

Click For Summary
AutoCAD Inventor can be used for basic computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tasks, but it lacks the advanced capabilities of dedicated CFD software like ANSYS Fluent. Users may find limited functionality for fluid flow analysis, but the results may not be as accurate or comprehensive. The software is primarily designed for 3D mechanical design rather than fluid dynamics simulations. For serious CFD applications, investing in specialized software is recommended. Overall, while AutoCAD Inventor has some CFD features, it is not a substitute for professional CFD tools.

Can Autocad inventor be used as a cfd software such as ansys fluent?

Thank you.

Possibly in some limited form, but it is not going to work nearly as well as actual cfd software.

Had my central air system checked when it sortta wasn't working. I guess I hadn't replaced the filter. Guy suggested I might want to get a UV filter accessory. He said it would "kill bugs and particulates". I know UV can kill the former, not sure how he thinks it's gonna murder the latter. Now I'm finding out there's more than one type of UV filter: one for the air flow and one for the coil. He was suggesting we might get one for the air flow, but now we'll have to change the bulb...
