I was wondering if someone could recommend some electrical engineering books that help explain rectifier circuits and DC chopper circuits. I've read electrical circuit theory and technology by John Bird and electrical machines, drives and power systems by Theodore Wildi and both seem to lack in these topics. Any recommendation is appreciated.

Electrical Engineering By Rizzoni seemed like a fairly thorough text to me.
