Anyone has the original paper on the Bose-Einstein condensate? Searched on Google without any success.
The original paper on Bose-Einstein condensate, authored by Albert Einstein and Satyendranath Bose, was published in 1925. Participants in the discussion highlighted the importance of distinguishing between the original discovery paper and Eric Cornell's later work on its creation. A translation error was noted in the English version of the original paper, where Satyendranath Bose was incorrectly referred to as Mr. D. Bose. For further research, links to the original paper and subsequent publications were provided, including resources from the Einstein Paper Project.
PREREQUISITESPhysicists, researchers in quantum mechanics, historians of science, and students studying condensed matter physics will benefit from this discussion.
The paper written by Einstein and Satyendranath Bose announcing their discovery.Alloymouse said:Are you referring to the original paper Eric Cornell which described its creation, or the paper that first described it?

That's a good observation. There is only one answer to that question. In the English translation (first link), in the very first paragraph, it's written Mr. D. Bose, whereas it should have been Mr. S. Bose. That's the only problem. Translation error? Let me ask for clarification from the person who posted the answer.Alloymouse said:Allow me to direct you to this link:

The first URL is obsolete, while the second is already there in the answer.Alloymouse said:Hmm, perhaps it's a translation error.
Anyways, in the second link, you could take a look at the "Acknowledgements" section - there are 2 more links you could follow to keep digging around
