Calculating Voltage Change Over Time

Click For Summary
The discussion centers on calculating voltage change over time, specifically in relation to sinusoidal voltage. A formula is suggested that involves using the differential, where the cosine function represents the change concerning time. Participants clarify the need to specify the type of voltage being analyzed, as the approach may vary. Understanding the relationship between voltage and time is crucial for accurate calculations. The conversation emphasizes the importance of context in applying mathematical formulas to electrical concepts.

Are you talking about pure sinusoidal voltage? Then its differential i.e, cosine gives you its change wrt time.
