Hi everyone! I actually created this account a while ago but I don't think I ever used it, but now I have a reason.

I'm currently in my 3rd year of Mechanical Engineering and a wannabe physicist. I've always loved physics but only really explored it (other than the classes I take/took) on a basic, conceptual level. However, considering the fact that I now have a decent math background, a relatively thorough understanding of classical mechanics and having come to love learning topics on my own, I've decided to take it upon myself to study and obtain a deeper and richer understanding of modern physics. I hope to learn a lot from you guys as much as I hope I can contribute to the community!

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
