Hello, everyone! I've obviously just joined this forum. I am an undergraduate from the United States, and I am a double major in Physics and History. I have a passion for physics, and would like to build a career in the field. Due to some personal issues within the past year, I have not been able to do well in my physics classes, specifically on exams, but I am looking to change that by studying as much as I can in my spare time. Of course, I have a strategy so I don't run myself ragged! I have been to this site multiple times before while stuck on certain problems, and have found it to be very helpful much of the time. Since I have decided to study on my own during my vacation, I figured it would be beneficial to join the forum and create my own threads in order to learn more, instead of just continually lurking. I'll mainly be asking questions related to electricity and magnetism for the first few months. Thank you in advance for any future help, and I hope that I can eventually help others with their material.

Hello! I'm quite new to this forum as well (first post I'm even newer than you!) I'm also interested in electricity and magnetism.

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
