Hi everybody!

Not really a new member as I've had an account for a while, but I've come back to theoretical physics after a few detours, here's the cliffnotes version:

1) Crappy undergrad degree from Pakistan, joined without high school math, was a nightmare.
2) Finished a master's degree from an elite university in Turkey - improved my basics somewhat, in a dept focused on condensed matter
3) Wilderness years [emoji14] (issues with substances, depression etc)
4) Quit a doctoral program (nanotribology) to pursue a second master's degree in theoretical physics (high energy/cosmology), this time in Italy.

So yes, I'm 29 and reviewing basic calculus and freshman physics while taking four graduate courses (fun!) - and I've realized I CANT DO IT ALONE. There's tonnes of small conceptual questions that take me hours to get (not very satisfactory) answers to which could be solved much disaster by discussing them here.

So, hello everybody! Looking forward to learning from everyone here

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
