AI Thread Summary
Experimental values for the linear thermal expansion coefficients of copper at temperatures between 100-1500K are difficult to find, with most sources providing data only at 20 degrees Celsius or behind paywalls. Suggestions include consulting the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics and checking footnotes for additional references. A helpful online resource is the NPL's General Physics page, which may contain relevant information. Continued searching in scientific literature and databases is recommended for comprehensive data. Accessing institutional resources or libraries may also provide the necessary information.

I didn't know where exactly should I post this kind of question :)

I need to find experimental values of linear thermal expansion coefficients of copper at various temperatures (ranging 100-1500K); however, as much as I google it I only get coefficients at 20 degrees of celsius, or else there is a paywall. Does anyone know where/how should I keep searching?

CRC Hndbk. of Chem. & Phys., check the footnotes for references.

Thank you very much!

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
