Difference between Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering.

  1. Apr 28, 2010 #1
    Hi,

I always wanted to know the difference between aeronautical engineering and aerospace engineering. I tried googling and searching over the net, but i could not find any detailed differences.

    Thanks.

As far as I know, Aeronautical is in-atmosphere and astronautical is out of atmosphere. Aerospace is an umbrella term that encompasses both disciplines.
