(1+a)n = (1-a)n
I tried following:
(1+a)n = (1-a)n
[(1+a)/(1-a)]n=1 but what can i do next?
I tried following:
(1+a)n = (1-a)n
[(1+a)/(1-a)]n=1 but what can i do next?
The first thing I did was to look at this equation using a couple of small values for n: n = 3 and n = 4, to get some idea of solutions.cdummie said:(1+a)n = (1-a)n

Next, I would expand each side using the Binomial Theorem.
