I have to prepare a seminar about fluorescent/fosforescent effect applied to engineering.
Besides fluorescent lamps, and some advertisements for security. What would you suggest? Mainly in the electrical engineering area.

Not electrical engineering but pressure sensitive paint is used a lot in aerodynamic testing as well as other areas of fluid mechanics. The paint fluoresces and the intensity depends on the local concentration of oxygen which depends on the pressure.
