Graduating HS senior - independent study, dual major

In summary, independent study is a type of academic program that allows students to design their own course of study and work independently with a faculty advisor. It has many benefits for graduating high school seniors, including personalized learning, developing skills in time management and critical thinking, and preparing for college-level coursework. Graduating high school seniors can also pursue a dual major through independent study. Independent study differs from traditional coursework by giving students more freedom in designing their curriculum and working at their own pace. However, there may be limitations or restrictions depending on the specific program and institution, so it's important for students to research and understand the requirements before pursuing independent study.

I'm not incredibly well versed in the engineering job market but my uncle got his bachelor's in engineering from University of California San Diego and was able to get a job several years later after he completed some civil engineering tests. I think you'd be okay just minoring in EE and then majoring in Physics, but it'd be more practical for you to simply major in EE and minor physics, wouldn't it?
